 OUR SERVICES

We provide all your home healthcare needs

At Arum Healthcare Services our providers are highly trained home caregivers. Whether you need a personal care attendant, home health aide or a nursing aid, our care team is made up of warm and caring women and men who often become their clients trusted friends. Our at home care team offers a wide spectrum of home care services.

Joyful Companionship

We enhance the quality of life for seniors, those with memory loss, and people with disabilities. We develop an affordable plan to assist our clients with the goal of remaining independent in their own homes for as long as possible.

Our caregivers provide care and companionship while assisting our families with their current needs, so that they can stay in their own familiar environment. We serve with love, grace, and a high level of expertise, which offers you comfort and security in knowing that your loved one will be supported with the highest quality of attention and care.

Transportation & Errands

Your aging parents will likely feel reluctant to give up the independence that driving offers, but the good news is Arum Healthcare’s elderly transportation assistance means they can still run errands, go to doctor’s appointments and visit with friends and family—all without getting behind the wheel.

If your parent would prefer reading a book or gardening versus running errands, that’s possible, too, through Arum Healthcare’s senior care errand assistance.

Light Housekeeping

When your aging or disabled loved one lives in a clean and organized home, they enjoy greater feelings of wellbeing and even good health. Keeping refrigerators and cupboards free of expired or spoiled foods can avert food-borne illnesses. To avoid fire hazards, stoves, toasters, ovens and other appliances must be regularly cleaned to avoid a build-up of grease, oils or crumbs.

Because it’s not easy to stay ahead of clutter or clean a home’s nooks and crannies if you’re a senior or disabled, Arum Healthcare's light housekeeping services can literally be a lifesaver.

Information & Referral Services

At Arum Healthcare Services, we recognize the significant contributions that our referral sources makes on a daily basis to quality healthcare for patients, healthcare providers, and payer sources. As you know, many families and individuals in your community are in need of assistance at home in order to maintain a safe and independent lifestyle.

We understand that you have many choices when considering a home health provider for your your love ones, and we want you to know that we are committed to providing your love ones and their families the best possible care.

Meal Preparation & Planning

Making sure that your loved ones consume nutritious meals that are prepared with an awareness of their dietary restrictions as well as their personal preferences is a priority for us. If your loved one is diabetic, has certain allergies or any other health restrictions, our caregivers can prepare meals designed with their specific dietary needs in mind.

Our caregivers receive regular updates, information, and recipes for nutritious, great tasting meals that they can prepare for special dietary needs. They’ll work with your loved one to plan and prepare meals, do the grocery shopping, and even provide dinner companionship.

Medication Reminders

It can be hard to remember to take medication, especially when you are focusing on recovering from chemotherapy or illness. For many people with injuries, taking too much pain medication is common. Seniors and people with Alzheimer’s are often prescribed so many medications they have a hard time with them.

Most people can organize their medication, but having a friendly reminder to take medication can mean that you are taking the prescribed amount.

Hygiene & Bathing Safety Assistance

As limitations evolve, basic hygiene can become a challenge. No matter what level of assistance your loved one needs, our trained home care caregivers can accommodate Bathing and showering assistance, Grooming, Oral hygiene, Toilet and Incontinent Care.

Other needed non- medical health services

Non-medical home care focuses on helping seniors with the daily activities they need to engage in to remain safe and healthy. Many seniors need help to get their day started with assistance showering, preparing breakfast and taking their medications. However, one of the most important needs of a senior who lives alone is often simple companionship. The companionship component of a professional caregiver’s job can be just as vital as the physical assistance a professional will provide.

Seniors need conversation and one-on-one contact to keep their minds alert. They can thrive with someone to participate in their favorite activities such as gardening, baking or woodworking, or someone to go to the grocery store or attend a concert.
